You meet a bunch of really interesting characters – Mei is the former cult leader, Heath is an American military tough guy, and Basil is an older Buddhist monk. You visit Stonehenge, Nazca, Uluru, a spaceship, and ton of other locations. Initially, you spend quite a bit of time in Japan, but eventually the whole world will open up for you to explore. It's a crazy story, with lots of twists and turns. A friendly scientist encourages you to go out into the world and use your skills against the alien menace. Gen soon discovers that he has the powers of psycho and chakra. It's still unknown where the aliens came from and if they have any goals beyond just annihilation. Human civilization only survives in a few small pockets around the globe. Gen is now a young adult and a member of Bless, a military organization that is seeking to resist the aliens. Along the way, you happen to go to the top of a mountain on a dare. You play as Gen, a young boy on summer break, on your way to visit your grandma. Somewhat reminiscent of Earthbound, at least initially. I've only found an older Reddit post and one or two YouTube videos, and not a ton else. It doesn't even have a Wikipedia article. This is probably the most obscure game I've ever played. Even so, there's very little info available online on this game. It was never released outside Japan, but thankfully, there's an awesome English fan translation that came out a few years ago.
